A total of twenty six members and guests assembled to witness WBro. Richard Firmer Wilson PGSt’dB. being installed as Worshipful Master of West Lancashire Lodge No.65 the oldest in the Province. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro Peter Connolly, although a member of the Lodge was on other Masonic business and was represented by WBro. E. Drinkwater PGJD. WBro. D.M. Southward installed his successor in an efficient and competent manner, and was congratulated on his work by those present. |

| The Festive Board was enjoyed by all, and the only items left on the plates were the bones from the lamb shanks, and this after having soup and a copious sized salmon fishcake, all rounded off with apple pie and custard. | |

| This Masonic year the Lodge celebrates it’s one hundred and fiftieth anniversary, or it’s Sesqui-Centenary in March 2014 and a great deal of interest in attending the celebration, the first in the Province, has already been generated, The Most Worshipful Pro Grand Master Benjamin Addy together with our Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Peter Connolly accompanied by his Acting Provincial officers will be in attendance. | |
